Our kits include pre-drilled adaptor plates, mounting brackets, Remote Data Interface (RDI) units for serial, analog, and digital connections, and a software tool for converting old configuration files. Plus, our certified technicians can easily complete the installation, reusing cable runs and mounting hardware from your current system, resulting in minimal downtime for your ships.

SoftWare Advanced Protection (SWAP)

Efficient and Cost-Effective Shipboard Electronics Repairs with Danelec’s SWAP TechnologyTM. No More In-Port Delays, Reduced Man Hours, and More.

Servicing and repairing shipboard electronics can be time-consuming and expensive. There are the complicated logistics of scheduling a service call and finding a properly trained technician – sometimes from a remote port. Then there is the question of whether the technicians have the correct spare parts on hand and can complete the repairs in time to meet the ship’s sailing schedule.

Say goodbye to complicated and expensive servicing and repairing of shipboard electronics.

With Danelec’s innovative SWAP TechnologyTM, you can save time and money while avoiding in-port delays. Our technology automatically saves all system software, configuration, and programming data on a hot-swappable memory card, which can be easily transferred from a defective unit to the new one. This allows onboard repairs to be completed in just hours, instead of days, reducing man hours and saving you money.

  • Saves time by enabling onboard repairs to be accomplished in a matter of hours, not days
  • Saves money by reducing man hours for service calls
  • Protects valuable shipboard data on a hot-swappable memory card
  • Keeps ships on schedule eliminating in-port delays for repairs

Playback Software

VDR Explorer playback software runs on any PC and can provide real-time monitoring and replay of recorded data. It can be presented in a wide variety of both graphical and numerical ways, and is extremely easy and user-friendly to customize and operate. VDR Explorer can be synced with the Danelec IP Video Interface (IPVI) to review time-stamped CCTV footage alongside recorded VDR data.

Seamless and Synchronized VDR Data and IP Video Recordings

The new VDR IP Video Interface designed to provide an extra layer of data for accident investigations and training applications

Danelec has developed a unique, plug and play solution for the integration of on-board High-Definition IP Video with data collected and stored by its DM100 VDR. Called VDR IP Video Interface (IPVI), Danelec’s innovative new solution augments situational awareness for accident investigators and unlocks deeper operational insight for ship owners and operator management teams, as well as training organisations and instructors.
